So we trotted for the vet

And it was as bad as bad gets. He was lame in front and uneven behind. Badly. Vet took blood to test for any infections, laminitis etc
We should have the results tomorrow. He continues to deal well with the confinement and is really easy to care for. Bandaging overnight worked a treat as there was hardly any swelling in the morning.

So sorry he can't move well but at least he's dealing with the stall rest. Hope the vet has something to tell you that will lead to treatment options.

Get well soon Kingsley! You would think by now with all the mystery lamenesses that we've all seen, they would cease to exist!! Bugs have been especially tough on my TB this year and I kept in on the fans all day. He hates staying in!

Makes one wonder why one vets pre-purchase at all! You poor girl, my heart bleeds for your situation, a lame horse is usually so healthy and yet so not...aghh!!! Hang in there, I'm rooting for you over here in Canada!

Thank you all for your support and positive thoughts :) Much appreciated!
Kate - he is dealing with his imprisonment amazingly well. It always amazes me how adaptable horses really are and maybe we take it for granted?

Vectormom - totally agree, there should be a limit to the inexplicable!

Canada - hope all goes for well for you too! And my thoughts exactly, really wonder why do we spend so much money on the vettings if things can go downhill literally days afterwards.
